YIF Mentorship Programme 2020-21

Welcome to the YIF Mentorship Programme! The Young India Fellowship (YIF) is a year-long residential postgraduate diploma programme in liberal studies at Ashoka University. It brings together a cohort of around 200 Fellows from diverse backgrounds and exposes them to an array of educational experiences that help them imagine new or enhanced intellectual and professional possibilities.

Key to this vision is the Mentorship Programme, where Fellows are connected to inspiring and experienced leaders who can support and guide them in their personal and professional journeys and help them realise their full potential. The programme has been a critical component of the YIF since its inception and, over the years, has had hundreds of Mentors, including several distinguished faculty, entrepreneurs, leaders, and practitioners from diverse domains.

The Mentors:

• Guide them in their personal and professional growth
• Build their potential as future leaders

The Mentees:

• Connect with leaders with expertise in different domains
• Get personalised advice and guidance on making important decisions
• Gain perspective from their Mentor who has been through similar experiences before
