Welcome to Our Mentoring Program

Industry Mentors is an Africa-wide specialist mentorship programme for SMEs in agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, ICT and other key economic sectors.

Our aim is simple: we are committed to support the sustainable growth and funding readiness of owner-managed SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa, through delivery of high-touch, high-trust, high-impact mentorship from experienced industry professionals.

Working with national and international development finance institutions, development agencies, corporates and government SME agencies, we aim to deliver measurable and sustainable SME growth outcomes. Our management team comprises seasoned SME development professionals with pan-African experience, a passion for entrepreneur development and an understanding of the need for a gender-lens approach and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Measurable

Our programme design is geared to on-line and face-to-face delivery: each SME is guided through a mentorship lifecycle using our proprietary on-line programme management platform. This platform gives mentor, mentee and programme sponsor a direct, real-time “whole of programme” line of sight into all mentorship activities and reports. Monitoring and evaluation, with comprehensive monthly activity and impact reports, are integrated into our approach and can be aligned to each institution’s specific needs. Our unique Confidence-Index© provides a dramatic view of the real and lasting capacity-building benefits.
